One of the most highly visited websites on the Internet by job seekers, US.jobs is the home of the National Labor Exchange (or NLx).

The NLx is a sophisticated electronic labor-exchange network, created in 2007 in a partnership agreement between the National Association of State Work Force Agencies (NASWA) and DirectEmployers Association.  US.jobs is an unprecedented public-private partnership that leverages private non-profit-owned technology with existing state workforce agency resources.

From 2007 through 2015, the NLx has made available over 50 million job openings, from more than 340,000 employers of all sizes, on this network.

All NLx services at US.jobs are offered at no cost to state workforce agency customers – both job seekers and employers – as well as to state workforce agencies and federal partners.

Today, all state workforce agencies, including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam, officially participate with US.jobs and the NLx.
